Ida B Wells Barbie Doll

In January of 2022, Mattel launched the Ida B. Wells Barbie doll as part of the Inspiring Women Series.  Michelle Duster and Dan Duster, two great-grandchildren of Ida B. Wells, worked with Mattel to develop the doll to be as close to her likeness and as historically accurate as possible.

They consider the development of the doll to be a great honor, as it will introduce Ida B. Wells to young people in a fun and creative way.  In addition, the doll can serve as a source of inspiration for people of all ages.  

A percentage of the proceeds benefit the Ida B. Wells Memorial Foundation.
